Hello Fall!

So yesterday the call of Fall could hold us back NO LONGER! Summer just felt so so short this year for some reason and I have been having a hard time letting it go.

Our friends slash practically family, the Wagners, invited us and the Thornocks (also family) to go for a ride in the mountains up to Inspiration Point to see the leaves and experience the brisk air. After the experience.... I am finally enjoying Fall completely.
These were our chariots. An amazing Razor and two four wheelers.
We parked next to this family... They are doing it right.
Words cannot express how much I love these two: Mr. Puff and Alien.

This is me... I had curlers in my hair for a Halloween Party later that night (dedication) so I was nicknamed Dr.Brain due to my larger than normal head and a childhood inside joke.

Me and Alien rode in the razor with Mr.Puff and her husband Bo. For the record... Razors are the way to go... Four wheeling is TERRIFYING. Thank you Tyson for giving me your seat. Here are some pictures from the ride

After some drifting, snow, and losing Jordan.... Anger.... We made it to the top. It is so breath takig! It isn't called Inspiration Point for nothing!!

Goodbye to our summer playground :( Willard Bay

So awkward. So us. So awesome.

Oh yes... Mr.Puff made the mistake of wearing white...

Alien stayed nice and snug...

We had to stop and film some kids drive through the mud. It was actually pretty cool :) but I'm glad it wasn't us.

Still got a raccoon dirt tatoo though.

It was such a good time! I'm so greatful for such amazing friends! Waynernockers for life!

Most Random Post Ever

You may have noticed my blogs "face lift" haha! I don't know what I would do without the color pink and hearts. My husband, Jordan, tells everyone that if they want to get me a gift, "just get her something pink or something with hearts!" At first I didn't want him telling people that because what if I wanted something else?? Then I realized... everything I want is pink...or has hearts...or both!

Anyways...Ever since I graduated (2 weeks ago) my crafty/artsy side has been UNLEASHED and this is what happened.
I made this cute cute cute mini-mouse pinata for my co-worker's 3 year-old's birthday party. I just cut out the shape of mini's head twice by tracing a clock and two medium paper plates and then taped them together with a strip of cardboard in-between. Which was followed by a few hours of gluing tissue paper to her... the bow is also tissue paper. I don't think my kids will ever have a home-made pinata as cute as this because I probably wont have time to do this again haha! They beat her up yesterday..... *cue sad music*
This really has nothing to do with my craftyness... but Jordan was on TV again for like the 3rd time since I have been married to him. KSL did a little bit on Rocky Mountain Flyboard and how AWESOME it is and Jordan was probably trying to get in every shot :)
I THRIFTED!!! I went on my first true thrifting adventure at the DI. I didn't know exactly what I was looking for... but when I saw the silver tray I just KNEW it was perfect. See, my bathroom lighting situation is "hideous" and something needed to be done. First of all the lights are florescent *chocking* and second of all the fan is wired to the light! so when the light is on...so is the fan! This quickly makes a relaxing bath session very not relaxing. So I bought the silver tray for $2 and the candles were between .25 and .75 cents.

Aslo I found this little frog.... I couldn't part.

And I found this pot for a $1!! So I went and bought some succulents. These plants are die-proof.
I gave this to my friend Ron for his birthday because he enjoys plants but he kills them because he works so much. Also I think it will look amazing in his house.
Aaaaaand I sewed this skirt!! I will hopefully be posting a "How To" soon on making it!

Last Day of Being 21!

If you have been tracking my birthday (which you should be), then you would know that the epic day is tomorrow!!! February 20th is the best day of the ENTIRE year. Why? Because it was the day that I was brought into this world.
I have spent the past year of my human experience being 21 years old. It was grand. Being 21 in North America comes with a lot of privileges.  Well… now that I think of it, the only one I can think about is that I get to legally drink alcohol… which I would never want to do anyways sooooooo. Awkward. Anywhoo, being 21 was still awesome. It is the first year of officially entering into the adult world and graduating from idiot-hood. Most people respect 21 year olds over 18 year olds (Except car rental places… they still think I am an idiot), and I am starting to not feel too young to be married.
So, as a salute to my amazing year of being 21 years old, I am going to make a list of 21 things I did and experienced last year. (In no particular order).
1.       Bought my first car
2.       Learned to do tiny jumps and board-slides on a wakeboard
3.       Celebrated 2 years of marriage
4.       Got a 98% in my first Statistics class
5.       Had a pregnancy scare
6.       Became Vegetarian with Vegan tendencies
7.       Went to Lake Powell and stayed on a fancy houseboat
8.       Worked at a job that won’t let me post the name on the internet…
9.       Went to Moab and saw the famous arch with Jordan
10.   Got a puppy (and had to give it away) *sniff*
11.   Moved twice
12.   Moved to Aggie Village…
13.   Watched my brother open his mission call! (going to Hungary)
14.   Dressed up as Yzma for Halloween (Character from The Emperor’s New Groove)
15.   Drove a boat unsupervised
16.   Let my little brother drive me around without parents in the car *gasp*
17.   Played Horseshoes for the first time… ya I’m not so good at that
18.   Applied for GRADUATION!
19.   Learned to play Racket Ball (new favorite game)
20.   Bought a mountain bike
21.   Watched 4th of July Fireworks from the VERY TOP of Benllomond Peak
Well goodbye 21 year old me! It was great, but I can’t wait to see what being 22 will bring!
